FEEL GOOD, LOOK GOOD
I am a firm believer in being active, that foods can help heal many of our modern ailments and today’s stresses and actively use aromatherapy for my beauty regime. Since 2004 I’ve practiced Ashtanga yoga on Sainte Catherine Street, Montreal. I also enjoy power walking, hiking and weight training. But, over the last couple of years, nothing really excited me and as a result, I stopped being active and gained weight! Not happy…
One day, I saw the Classical Stretch show on PBS television and started to practice this fitness program. Very quickly, I discovered that Essentrics Fitness Program was a perfect blend of low-impact, steady flow movement (like Pilates & Tai Chi) while strengthening and active stretching the entire body that made me feel balanced and energized after each class. I also found that Essentrics improved my circulation, which is a great help for the Lymphedema on my right foot.
I have a B.Comm, Marketing from Concordia University with 15 years of marketing and communications expertise working in pharmaceutical, natural skin care, software and retail industries. I’ve had the pleasure of gaining strong knowledge in communications and brand development.
While working at A Natural Perspective, a natural skin care company in Quebec, I had the opportunity to learn about essential oils and aromatherapy along with skin issues, like acne, eczema and rosacea. Aromatherapy is a topic that still interests me and I’ll write about on the blog from time to time. Plus, you’ll also get to discover their all natural, bath and body line over at Studio Wellness.
Despite this very rewarding and challenging work, I wanted to be able to combine my growing interest in the field of wellness, holistic lifestyle, fitness, personal growth and community involvement.
Today, I’m excited to share this with you, the launch of Studio Wellness and Essentrics Training Program. Essentrics is unique, it strengthens and stretches every muscle in the body eccentrically, dynamically, in continuous rotational movements. It incorporates various techniques from Tai-Chi, ballet, PNF and isotonic, you will never get bored! Please check out the free classes!
Also, don’t forget to visit the blog as I share what’s cooking in my kitchen, healthy food trends and latest research finding on nutrient-packed whole foods that nourish your health.
See you in class!
